Is there any reasons why some girls/women wear a short over their one-piece swimsuit?

nothing wrong about it, i just wanna know!!

I will always wear board shorts with my suit, whether it is a one-piece or two-piece, if I am at a water park. The water slides will sometimes move the bottom piece around, and I don't want to show too much. I feel more comfortable wearing shorts with my suit.

I would say that the people do it mostly for modesty. They are not comfortable showing as much, or feel iffy about that area.

When I'm having fun: To cover up areas I don't like.

For swim practice: To create drag.

For swim meets: Just something to have on while I'm waiting.

So they dont have to wax.

We might sometimes have to look the other way, but overall, I think it will be OK...

some just like to have even more coverage than a one piece gives

Mostly, it's to cover up more skin...But, I know that I wear shorts over my one-piece at a swim meet (I'm a competition swimmer).

Is it common for women to grow out the bush in the colder months and get rid of it for swimsuit season?

Or is that a year round thing for most girls who go bare just for the summer time?

i think it depends on your relationship status when i dont have a bf and i know im not gonna be hooking up with anyone or if i know im not gonna see my bf for awhile i grow it cause it gets alot smoother and no razor bumps when you shave it if you let it grow

Not when they are wearing them - but, yes, when they are trying them on in the store, it is MUCH better to wear underwear under the swimsuit.

What is the best swimsuit for large breasted women?

I find the halter style is very uncomfortable on the back of my neck & skinny straps don't cut it either.

stay away from bandeau tops or strapless. if you are anything like me, you will want something supportive that will give you great cleavage. halter tops are great for that, but since you don't like the way it feels, try a broader tank-top style or a racer back style. click the links below for a few suggestions. not sure if you are looking for a one or a two piece, though.

Tankini, Tankini, Tankini! I also have those issues and anything with an underwire is best. It seems to hold the girls in alot better. Victoria's Secret catalogs are the best way to get cute, but functional suits that fit. You can also check them out online. Good Luck!

yeah, you need to find one with underwire and bigger straps... i have that issue too.. i wanna wear bikini tops but my boobs r too big =[ so it looks skanky lol

find a swimsuit that has an underwire so you can be held and a suit or bikini that have thick straps

halter bathingsuits that are like the innerhalter are good for big breasted women they give you support and they are comfortable

I found a really nice one piece that is the classic sheath style (it looks great!) I used to have one of those cup sized ones but they don't go up to my cup size anymore :( But those work really well if you can find it in the correct cup size!

If you buy a suit with wire built in the cups, it will support you and if you can find tops with nice wide comfortable straps at Macy*s or Target and other places like that. Just look hard for the thick straps and underwire. Don't worry you'll find a comfortable bathing suit.

i have the same problem myself, try Fashion Bug or Cato's.

They are a lil pricey but they have a good selection.

So far the only one that I have found thats comfortable enough is almost the style of a sports bra in the back with the "T" strap.

honestly, halter style is the best type for large breasted woman, as it can support the side and concentrate them in the centre...... if ur uncomfortable with it, try wearing "sport bra' type of swimsuit, or those underwired type....

I think that would be a size 22.

Why are women's surfing swimsuit bottoms cut so low?

Is there a reason surf bikini brands (ala Roxy) have such low rise bottoms? Is there a function or reason for it when surfing or is it purely a style thing?

Style for sure. Low rise are not practical for duck diving or surfing in general.
